Frontline Bonus - Terms & Conditions
The Frontline Bonus is offered by Loans Simple Pty Ltd trading as Godwin Finance (“Godwin Finance”). The bonus is not provided by any lender and does not form part of any home loan contract or loan terms. The following terms are in place to ensure the sustainability of the Frontline Bonus payments.
1. Eligibility
To be eligible for the Frontline Bonus, all of the following must apply:
- The borrower must be a current, serving frontline employee at the time eligibility is assessed and at the time of any bonus payment
- Eligible frontline roles include (but are not limited to): police officers, nurses, midwives, doctors, defence and military personnel, paramedics, and emergency services workers.
- The loan must be an owner-occupied residential home loan
- The loan must be arranged and settled through Godwin Finance
- Godwin Finance must receive upfront and trailer commissions based on the minimum loan amount listed in these terms as direct result of arranging your loan.
- Maximum of one Frontline Bonus eligible loan per household.
- Loans for purposes other than owner-occupied residential lending (including residential investment loans) are not eligible.
- Applications must be made through the 'Get Started' link on this page.
2. Commission-Based Assessment
Eligibility for the Frontline Bonus is determined solely by the commission paid by the lender to Godwin Finance as a direct result of arranging your loan, not by the loan limit shown on the loan contract.
For the avoidance of doubt:
- The relevant loan balance is the balance on which the lender calculates and pays commission
- Offset account balances are deducted when determining the relevant loan balance
- Available redraw amounts are not included in calculations
- Godwin Finance’s determination of the commission-based balance is final.
3. Initial Bonus Payment
An initial bonus payment of $1,000 may be paid only if the upfront commission paid by the lender is calculated on a loan balance of at least $500,000, net of any offset account balances.
If the upfront commission paid by the lender is calculated on a balance below $500,000 (net of offset), the initial bonus will not be paid.
4. Ongoing Annual Bonus Payments
An ongoing bonus payment of $500 may be paid for each year the loan continues to meet eligibility criteria.
Ongoing bonus payments will cease immediately if:
- The commission paid by the lender is calculated on a balance below $500,000, net of offset balances
- The lender claws back, reverses, or reduces any part of the commission previously paid
- The loan no longer meets the eligibility requirements set out in these Terms & Conditions
5. Bonus Assessment and Payment
Bonus payments are not automatic entitlements.
Godwin Finance will monitor eligibility and manage qualification and payment internally.
Godwin Finance may request documentation to confirm eligibility (including loan statements or confirmation of employment).
Bonus payments are made only after eligibility has been verified and approved by Godwin Finance.
6. Lender Cashbacks
Any lender-provided cashback offers are separate and additional to the Frontline Bonus. Godwin Finance does not guarantee the availability, approval, or timing of any lender cashback.
7. Discretion, Clawbacks and Cessation
The Frontline Bonus is offered at the discretion of Godwin Finance.
Godwin Finance reserves the right to:
- Decline, suspend, or cease bonus payments if lender commission is reduced, reversed, or clawed back
- Decline, suspend, or cease bonus payments if eligibility criteria are no longer met
- Decline, suspend, or cease bonus payments if any other circumstances arise that, in Godwin Finance’s reasonable view, make continued payments inappropriate
- No bonus payments are payable where commission has been clawed back by the lender.
8. No Influence on Credit Advice
The Frontline Bonus does not influence lender or product selection. Credit assistance is provided in accordance with Best Interest Duty and responsible lending obligations, based on the client’s individual circumstances.
9. Tax Considerations
Recipients are responsible for obtaining their own tax advice regarding the treatment of any bonus payments.
10. General Information
This information is general in nature and does not constitute credit, financial, or tax advice. A full assessment is required before any credit assistance is provided. Australian law applies.
